Drupal Performance Tuning and Optimization for large web sites

Hi everybody, a have read almost all the articles post here, i think they are pretty good and helpfull.
I just need only one thingh more, an article based on what happens whith the performance of a standar drupal site when the data base (in my case i use postgreSQL)increase the amuont of data stored criticaly.
